Each year developer software experts JetBrains release an overview of developer choices and trends – from development environment popularity worldwide to rising stars and fading heroes of programming languages. Several years in, the latest report added an extra layer – a longitudinal analysis at how things have changed in the eight years they’ve been surveying over 20,000 developers.
